We wanted to change an outdoor water heater closet into one part (tiny section) outdoor water heater closet and second part (big part) walk-in master closet. We successfully (if I do say so myself) finished the project this weekend.
Here are some pictures:
The outdoor water heater/storage closet. |
The location of the outdoor water heater closet on our back porch. |
The location of the new doorway for our walk-in closet. |
The demolition for the new doorway begins. |
Moving the water heater down and repairing the vent holes from the water heater's old location. |
Checking out the roof vent from the water heater to move it down as well. |
Peek-a-boo! The old switch plate location where the new doorway will go. |
The new doorway to our closet! |
Mudding the new wall between our closet and the water heater closet. |
Preparing the insulation for the water heater closet. |
The new water heater closet. |
Getting those corners. |
It's getting there! |
Painting and covering up the nail holes in the new doorway. |
More painting. |
The closet is here! |
All the shelves and space! |
View through the door. |
Yay! |
The light is incredible from the sky tube light! |
Our new walk-in closet holds our clothes very nicely! |
And, we're on to the second big project already!
This is the original master closet, and it just has shelves. We are going to make it more similar to our new walk-in closet, and it's going to be mostly Cade's! |
